quick easy checkin=checkout very friendly staff at reception pool=spa facilities lovely our room was very clean and comfortable the king size bed was luxurious and the heavy drapes blocked out light
Enjoy the atmosphere of Southbank - easy walking to the city square for shopping - easy walking to the mcg for football, close to sites such as Federation Square, Melbourne Arts Museum, Casino and wonderful eateries along Southbank.
Pool on the top floor
The smell in and around the gym and pool - smelt like socks. Access to stairs as opposed to using lifts, and access to carpark via stairs could be improved.
the room was amazing would definately stay there again..
Comfortable bed & opening windows.
the apt was very comprehensive in that it had a full kitchen and washer/dryer useful for families, as well as aircon and heating.Excellent location.
there was no cleaning services over the weekend
The staff were delightful - friendly and helpful. The location was great. The breakfast was delicious - best hash browns I've ever tasted and lovely coffee. Parking was very convenient. Pool and spa were great and much enjoyed. Gym looked terrific even though we didn't use it.
Didn't like the fact that the balcony was in the children's bedroom and the sliding door access to it couldn't be locked with a key. That made me nervous as our ch'n are only 6 and 8 years old. We would have liked the balcony ourselves. The air conditioning came with no instructions and we couldn't get the setting to go below 22 and so we were too hot at night and couldn't sleep. The pillows were uncomfortable. No instructions or guide for the TV. The walls were very 'marked' throughout the apartment. To be honest for what we paid we expected better as we have stayed in better places for a cheaper price with better views of the city.
Bathroom and kitchen not luxurious as shown in photos. Rooms too small.
The view from corner Appartment.
Mantra is perfectly located for the Australian Open (tennis) as it is an easy stroll to the tennis stadium. It is also well positioned to the SouthBank resturants and an easy walk into the city.
The airconditioning was like being in a room with a 747 - it was so loud we hd to turn it off in order to sleep. Fortunately it was cool in Melbourne during our stay.It would also have been good to have room information on the surrounding resturants. We akso thought it was overpriced.
THe Location was good and the rooms were well appointed.
Food and Beverage was very expensive
Very good location for shopping and going to Rod Laver Arena, lots of food, restaurants close by, was affordable, clean and fairly quiet. Even though our bedding configuration wasn't right when we arrived it was fixed effeciently and without any problems. Would stay again and refer to friends. Need an exhaust fan in the bathroom.
The size of the rooms, the facilities and the helpful staff
There was nothing we didnt enjoy.
Location was awesome.
Sleeping the bed was aweful
location, gym, pool, restaurant meal very nice
extremely noisy - both street noise and adjacent/above rooms. F&F a bit tired, paint chipped, some lights/power not working. Rooms very gloomy and poorly lit - e.g. reading in lounge or table not possible. Desk light only really bright light. Washer/dryer extremely noisy and takes a long time for cycle to complete.
Staff very hospitalable.
Disappointed and appalled, the mattress protector on one of the beds , was urine stained[ an old stain] very unhygenic.
